I'm proud to introduce my latest edition to Elk Creek Gun dogs: Elk Creeks Blackwater Bo.

Bo was bred here and sold as the pick of the litter out of Megan and Dakota's last litter. (Megan passed away tragically with a lung infection)

The folks that bought him had a serious illness strike in their family and could no longer have a dog. My intention when they offered him back was to put a couple months training into him and then sell him as a started dog.

I started to have second thoughts when I saw how strikingly handsome he'd turned out to be. He is about 95 lbs. of lean athleticism with a great looking head. Then I had a chance to take him duck hunting a couple times at the end of last season. Wow, that sealed the deal. This was going to be my next stud dog. His eyes are instinctually glued to the sky, scanning for incoming birds and if you should happen to knock one down in tough cover, lookout, he just tears it up! I can't wait to finish up his training and get him back in the blind next year.

Blackwater Bo combines the Nationally known pedigree of the Blackwater lines with the great looks of my original Tall Timber lines and looks to be something really special.
